Keeping your ABReport software up-to-date is important for ensuring you have the latest features and security enhancements. Updating is straightforward and only takes a few minutes. Follow these steps:
Most users install ABReport in the same folder as Budget Manager. The process below is only used if you've installed ABReport in it's own folder. If ABReport is installed in the same folder as Budget Manager, please follow the steps in Update Budget Manager.
Step-By-Step Instructions
- Download the latest version of ABReport from our secure ShareFile server.

Follow the steps in the Backup Your ABReport Data article. - Make sure all users have closed ABReport.
- Open your Downloads folder and extract or unzip the Files.zip.
- Open the Files folder and then the Budget and ABReport folder.
- Select the ABReport.exe file.
- Copy the file by right-clicking and selecting Copy or use Ctrl+C on your keyboard.
- Open your ABReport folder and paste the file by right-clicking and selecting Paste or using Ctrl+V on your keyboard.
- Optional: After updating all applications you can clean up your Downloads folder and delete the Files.zip folder and the Files folder.
That's it! ABReport is now up-to-date.
