Move Proposed Budget to Actual Budget

After your proposed budget is approved, you need update the Actual Budget with the newly approved amounts. You can use the Move Amounts function to copy the amounts in the approved Budget Prep to your Actual Budget.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Select Budget Preparation from the menu on the left or by selecting Other Functions then Budget Preparation from the top menu. 
   
2. Use the dropdown menu to select the Budget Preparation you want to copy then choose Select to open the Budget Prep.
   
3. Select Move Amts from the Budget Preparation menu.
   
4. Use Option 1, Move amounts from a Bdgt Prep # to Bdgt Accts budgeted amt.
   
5. In the Moving From section, select the Budget Prep column you want copy to your Actual Budget.
   

   The Budget Prep # will default to the currently opened Budget Prep.

   
6. Select Move to copy the chosen column to your Actual Budget.

Your Actual Budget will be updated with the new values and you'll see the amounts when you print your Budget reports.
