Location codes are used to separate employees into groups, typically building (location). Follow the steps below to add a new location or edit an existing location.
Add A Location
- In Payroll, go to Other Functions then select Locations
- On the Locations screen, press Add
- Enter a unique 4 digit code in the Code field
- Enter a description (name of the building) in the Desc field
- Press Save
After adding a location, you can add employees to the location by going to the Employees module.
Edit A Location
- In Payroll, go to Other Functions then select Locations
- On the Locations screen, select the location you want to edit from the list on the left side of the screen
- Press Edit
- Edit the Code or Description
- Press Save
